Gerry Cutting BSc CEng FICE MCIArb

Gerry is one of the practice's Principal Engineers. He has been a Chartered Civil Engineer since 1976. Since 2001 he has been a Fellow of The Institution of Civil Engineers.

From the late 1970's until 1985 he was the Regional Engineer for the National House Building Council covering, on their behalf, all of England from the Humber to the Thames and across to Staffordshire. This senior position enabled him to build up a good knowledge of construction practice, ground conditions, site clearance and building defects through that area. This together with his previous experience of heavy civil engineering, highway bridges and water retaining structures formed the basis of the Practice in 1985.

He has been a committee member of a Historic Building Trust confirming the Practice's interest and knowledge of old buildings.

He has been instrumental in driving the Practice forward to complete the wide diversity of projects. He now believes that the Principal engineers within the practice have the knowledge and skills to continue this and takes pride in their further development of the practice.
